PTFX exterior safety guarded Sight Glasses assemblies offer the benefit of increased working pressure capabilities - 
that do not come as standard when using conventional sight glass assemblies.

 These products have been specifically designed to aid visual flow of medias being transferred through flexible process hoses
which in many cases can exceed 10.0 Bar ( 150 PSI ) and the outer guards also help to protect the sight glass units from damage.

Manufactured from FDA & USP approved translucent fluoropolymer materials, these units offer a safer solution
to the conventional and breakable glass units - which for Health and Safety reasons are now being replaced by
Food, Dairy, Brewery & Pharmaceutical manufacturing sites around the world.

PTFX Non-Glass sight glass units are available in sizes ranging from 6mm to 150mm bore sizes ( 1/8" to 6.0" )   
and in continuous lengths up to 7.30 mtrs ( 24 Ft ) and offer increased working pressures up to 20 Bar at operating temperature ranging from from -60°C up to +200°C.  ( -176°F to + 390 °F ) and also offers excellent chemical resistance.
 
All PTFX Non-Glass Sight Glasses are supplied fitted with our range of safe-lok hygienically swaged hose end fittings designs
in a range of materials including Stainless steel as standard, Hastelloy, Monel, Titanium, Duplex and PTFE.
